Featured Destination - Short City
Breaks
Not so long ago very few people
visited Prague, nowadays it's one of those places that
anyone who's been raves about and top of their reasons
for raving is the city's beauty, and beautiful it is.
There are a number of ways to explore: by tram, by boat
or on foot - a combination of all three is the best
way. You'll need to be laid back about things from time
to time, you may find your bills rounded up and menus
in English are more expensive than those in Czech, but
buy a guidebook, read up and you'll know what to look
out for, then you won't be distracted from enjoying
this gorgeous city.
It's no wonder France's capital
remains the number one city break destination for us
Brits. It's now so quick and easy to get there that
even if you can't persuade the boss to let you have
a day off, you can still escape on a Saturday for a
one-night break. Famous for its romantic atmosphere
Paris is also the one place where dark, chilly nights
are a good thing - let's face it nothing beats a candlelit
dinner in a cosy Parisian restaurant followed by an
early night! Oo-la-la!
